Let's Keep the Wildlife Wild Please don't feed the animals

Spring is in the air and the animals can feel it too! It has been a cold and snowy winter, but warmth is on its way. The BDC wants to express our appreciation and thanks to all the residents in the village that took care over the winter months to secure their property, helping curb the growth of the local wild animal population.

To continue our efforts, we encourage all residents to practice extra vigilance in helping to control the population of raccoons, coyotes and feral cats in the area by not feeding the wildlife as the birthing season approaches. Please continue to secure your garbage, birdfeeders and other sources of food to help keep Batawa a safe and clean place to live.
