RACHEL FEHR

 

Rachel joined the BDC in May to train as the Community Development Coordinator while Raquel is on maternity leave.

As a graduate of the Business Communications program at Brock University and the Post Graduate Public Relations program at Loyalist College, Rachel is well prepared to fill that role at the BDC.  Her strong background in marketing and public relations means you will see her helping out at the various events held in and around Batawa.

Previously, Rachel completed an internship at 8 Wing/CFB Trenton in Public Affairs.  Her role there included developing web content, preparing communications briefs, news conferences, special events, and she was a regular contributor to The Contact newspaper.

Rachel moved to the Quinte Region seven years ago from the Edmonton area and has made it her home.  Having grown up in a small northern Ontario town, she prefers the friendliness and comfort of a small community over the big city and finds Batawa an ideal place to work.
