Steven Wright is becoming a familiar face around Batawa.  This will be the young student’s second summer working for the BDC and in his spare time he maintains the local Shoe Box gardens. His family runs a successful garden business in Foxboro so Steven is well prepared for the challenge of maintaining the beautiful grounds of Batawa.

During the school year Steven is enrolled in the Image Arts & New Media program at Ryerson University where his creativity is tested in crafting interactive designs and experiences. 

Steven began his summer placement a month late this year because he was completing a development project at an orphanage in Kenya.  While working on the project he assisted in the building of showers and brickwork at the orphanage as well as spent time teaching the local children in school.
