Batawa Lions Club

Batawa Fire Hall 
 
The Batawa Fire Hall is comprised of 18 volunteer firefighters providing emergency response services both within Batawa and the Quinte region. The hall is equipped with a pumper truck, two tank trucks, a rescue van, and a mobile air unit. Fire drill is held every Wednesday evening. This dedicated, community minded group can be found at most community events.
 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Batawa 
 
One of the three churches that belong with the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parish. Currently mass is being led by parish priest Father Charles Enyinnia.

Ladies of the Sacred Heart 
 
A volunteer organization which fundraises for specific projects for the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Batawa.

Friends of the Trail 
 
FOTT is a vounteer organization that works toward the preservation of a 17 km trail that runs parallel to the west side of the Trent River and passes through Frankford, Batawa, and Glen Miller. The trail is used for walking, hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and nature enjoyment.

Seniors Unlimited 
 
A social organization of volunteers working for the betterment of Seniors in Quinte West. Join them at the Batawa Community Centre Tuesday & Thursday afternoons for cards and chess, shuffleboard, potluck lunches, barbeques, bus trips, special events, line dancing and more. Sacred Heart Catholic School 
 
With just under 200 students, this elementary school offers so much to its students. Set in a beautiful wooded area of Batawa, just at the foot of the Batawa Ski Hill and on the doorstep of kilometers of trails, Sacred Heart students are in close touch with nature and their community. Students actively participate in community activities, and achieve academic results that make provincial news.
